Mission Statement:
The Federal Public Key Infrastructure (FPKI) Policy Authority is an interagency body set up under the CIO Council to enforce digital certificate standards for trusted identity authentication across the federal agencies and between federal agencies and outside bodies, such as universities, state and local governments and commercial entities.

When's the next Federal PKI Policy Authority (FPKIPA) Meeting?
NEW   The next FPKIPA meeting is scheduled for August 10, 2010 (from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM)
at the United States Postal Service (USPS) Headquarters Building, 475 L'Enfant Plaza, SW, Conference Room TBD in Washington, DC.  Contact us  for meeting directions.

  This Application was updated with the following levels of assurance:
  PIV-I Hardware, PIV-I Card Authentication, and PIV-I Content Signing
  •  X.509 Certificate Policy for the FBCA, Version 2.17, dated June 10, 2010
  •  X.509 Certificate and CRL Extensions Profile for PIV-I Cards
  •  FBCA CP PIV-I Legacy PKI Mapping Matrix, Version 2.0, dated 6/10/2010
  These tables are for use by organizations that have a direct cross-certificate with the FBCA
  at Medium Hardware. Guidance for all other organizations interested in PIV-I cross
  certification will be forth coming.
